从2012年1月份开始，具有三年以上职业资格的AICPA投票会员和所有CIAM协会及会员，将有机会使用CGMA抬头并成为CGMA的一员。

AICPA 投票会员必须符合以下条件中的一条才可以成为CGMA的合格会员。
1、三年公司企业和政府财务管理会计经验，或是两年类似经验外加一年公共会计工作经验。

必须要有财务和管理会计经验，有内部审计和政府审计资格经验也可以。

个人金融服务不符合这一目的。
2、三年财务、管理会计经验负责咨询
3、持有U.S.CPA证具有三年管理会计经验，主要工作负责注册会计事务所管理和运营。
CIMA协会及会员不需要有进一步的要求。

关于如何申请，详细信息几个月后公布。

Beginning January 2012, voting members of the AICPA who have three years of qualifying experience, and all CIMA Associates and Fellows, will have the opportunity to use the CGMA designatory letters and become part of the CGMA global community.

AICPA voting members must meet one of the following qualifications to be eligible for the CGMA:

1、Three (3) years of experience working in a financial/management accounting capacity in business industry or government OR two (2) such years plus one (1) year of public accounting experience:

Experience must be in the field of financial/management accounting. Those with experience in internal and governmental auditing qualify as well.

Personal financial services do not qualify for this purpose.
 

2、Three (3) years of experience working in a financial/management accounting role on a consulting basis;
 

3、Three (3) years of management accounting experience gained by a U.S. CPA whose primary responsibilities are focused on the management and operation of a CPA firm.

CIMA Associates and Fellows need take no further action.
